Is it complicated to remove a window film?
There are several ways to remove window film. You can do the removal by yourself or have it done by a professional installer. Firstly, you will need to remove the film itself, and secondly, remove the adhesive.
The removal of the film will be more or less easy depending on the type of film that has been installed on your windows. Be careful when removing the film to avoid breakage and small pieces of film sticking to the window.
Remove a window film can take some time, so be patient! The aim is to remove as much of the adhesive with the film as possible. This leaves only a little adhesive to be removed with suitable products.
Once the film and adhesive have been removed from the window, the window will need to be cleaned, especially if you plan to install a new film directly afterward. Why should this be done? Because there is a risk that when you install your new adhesive film, you will have residues of glue particles or dust, which could create air bubbles.

The main method of removing film is to use heat to melt the glue from the film, for example with a heat gun, hairdryer, or spray bottle.
Use heat starting with the corner of the glass that you have previously grabbed and, as soon as it starts to peel, heat new areas of the adhesive to remove it.
